Shane Beamer’s staff has reportedly picked up a transfer portal commitment.

Dennis Brunson of the Sumter Item reports that Jahkeem Green of Sumter is coming home to South Carolina. Green entered the transfer portal on Dec. 30 after two seasons at Nebraska.

The defensive lineman played in eight games during two seasons at Nebraska, recording four total tackles.

A one-time Gamecock pledge from the 2019 signing class, Green arrived at Nebraska from Highland Community College in Kansas.
