South Carolina is reportedly down an analyst who will join Trent Dilfer at UAB, according to a report from Doug Samuels of Football Scoop.

Coleman recently finished out his second season on the South Carolina staff, where he saw a lot of involvement in coaching and recruiting at the quarterback position, and he brings a lot to the table with play-calling experience. He was considered a candidate for play-calling duties in the Gator Bowl.

Before he made his way to Columbia, he served as the offensive coordinator at Murray State and Faulkner University. He was also the quarterbacks coach and the pass-game coordinator at Tennessee Tech.

There, he worked with Marcus Satterfield, the former South Carolina offensive coordinator who recently became the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
