South Carolina to be without 2 defensive starters against No. 1 Georgia, per Shane Beamer
South Carolina’s Week 3 game just got even more challenging. The Gamecocks will face No. 1 Georgia without a pair of defensive starters.
On Sunday, Shane Beamer spoke to reporters on a media teleconference. The South Carolina head coach confirmed his team will be without EDGE Jordan Strachan and LB Mo Kaba after they were injured in the Arkansas game.
Shane Beamer’s teleconference injury notes are somber, as expected.
Jordan Strachan and Mo Kaba will certainly be out this week. They’ll have some more information to release once they can talk to those guys face-to-face.

Beamer did have some positive news on the injury front. DL Alex Huntley looks to be fine going forward. DB R.J. Roderick practiced Sunday and should be back for the Week 3 contest. WR Corey Rucker could potentially be available.
Beamer: There's a chance Corey Rucker can play against Georgia. Boogie Huntley should be fine.
R.J. Roderick was at practice tonight and said he felt great, told Beamer he's playing Saturday.
