South Carolina unveils new banner at Williams-Brice Stadium
South Carolina fans will arrive to a new look at Williams-Brice Stadium this fall. The west side of the stadium now features a “welcome home” banner, which was unveiled Saturday.

New Gamecocks head coach Shane Beamer has used “welcome home” in the name of his offseason speaking tour and when announcing commitments and coaching staff hires on social media. Beamer recently teased the banner change.

The previous banner, seen in the photo above, had been up on the stadium wall since before the 2016 season, the first under previous head coach Will Muschamp.
South Carolina opens the 2021 season at home against Eastern Illinois on Sept. 4. The game is set for a 7 p.m. ET kickoff, airing on the SEC Network and also streaming on ESPN+.
