The South Carolina Gamecocks just got hit by the news that WR Ger-Cari Caldwell has entered the transfer portal.
The wide receiver from Rock Hill, South Carolina, played in 6 games past season and only caught 1 pass for 5 yards.

Caldwell, a former 3-star prospect out of Northwestern High School, will have 4 years of eligibility left because of last year’s COVID-19 protocols, which allowed student-athletes to receive another year of eligibility.
The Gamecocks’ offense struggled a lot this past season and it basically all fall apart last Saturday against arch-rival Clemson, who beat them 30-0.
Changes at quarterback and a lack of consistency are the main reasons this offense struggled this year. Yet, after beating Auburn a few weeks ago, they became bowl eligible.
