Spencer Rattler and South Carolina played pretty close to the perfect offensive game last Saturday in defeating No. 5 Tennessee.
Rattler threw for 480 yards and 6 touchdowns in the win, the best performance of his college career. He had 8 touchdowns entering Saturday’s game.
He was asked Tuesday how the Gamecocks offense could improve on the win against the Vols. His answer? “I don’t know.”
Spencer Rattler talking about how USC just wants to improve every week. How does one improve over Tennessee?
“I don’t know. I kinda just said that … we did punt once … ”

For once, “I Don’t know” is a perfect answer. The Gamecocks scored touchdowns on 9 of their 10 drives, making Tennessee’s secondary look silly in the process. It was the most points put on a top 5 team by and unranked team in… quite some time.
South Carolina’s 63 points is the most by an unranked team against a Top 5 opponent in almost 100 years.
