South Carolina defensive back T.J. Holloman was ejected for targeting in the second quarter of the Gamecocks’ game with Vanderbilt.
Holloman was penalized for a helmet-to-helmet hit on Vanderbilt’s Kris Kentera on an incomplete pass on third-and-goal from South Carolina’s 7-yard line.
The penalty gave Vanderbilt a first down, and the Commodores went on to score a touchdown on a 4-yard pass from Johnny McCrary to Caleb Scott. The touchdown gave Vanderbilt a 7-6 lead.
