Will Muschamp after Missouri win: 'It's a helluva day to be a Gamecock'
Will Muschamp was especially energetic in the post-game of South Carolina’s 37-35 win on Saturday.
The game was won on a 33-yard field goal by Parker White with two seconds remaining
The South Carolina coach explained that QB Jake Bentley was cleared to play, but that the Gamecocks’ starter would have been limited with his mobility.
The game was delayed by more than an hour because of multiple lightning strikes in the area.
The result lifted South Carolina to 3-2 overall and 0-2 in the SEC, while Missouri dropped to 3-2 and 0-2.
South Carolina will return to action against Texas A&M next week, while Missouri will play at Alabama.

Muschamp: Bentley was cleared to play today. Muschamp had a concern about him really being ready. He would have been limited. He'll know more Tuesday about next week.

Muschamp: Jake was cleared to play to day, but understood he would be limited. I don’t know how he would have been able to protect himself.

Muschamp: Heavy run attack was more weather-induced than anything involving Scarneechia. We had more planned for him than we used because of the elements we faced.

Muschamp on the weather delays: You got to get your juice back, man. Got no choice.

Will Muschamp on the field: "These guys fought their ass off and never quit fighting!"

Muschamp: Felt better about 4th and 9 fake field goal if it was two yards shorter. Felt good about it, Bailey hit the hole, ended up beating short.

Muschamp: Had all the confidence in the world in Parker White. I think taking the kickoff duties away from him is positive, keeps his leg stronger for field goals.
