The South Carolina Gamecocks gave the Georgia Bulldogs all they could handle, but ended up losing to the No. 1 team in the country 24-10 in Athens.

The Bulldogs improved to 9-0 on the season, while South Carolina is now 6-3, though it was an impressive battle from coach Will Muschamp’s crew.

However, at the end of the day, the Gamecocks lost, and that’s what counts in the standings.

After the game Muschamp addressed some of his team’s struggles, complimenting the Bulldogs while explaining where the Gamecocks failed.
