When it comes to reading a quarterback’s eyes, not many do it better than South Carolina LB Skai Moore, who now has 14 interceptions in his college career.

That’s significant because it ties the South Carolina record, set by Bo Davies from 1969 to 1971. Moore grabbed his record-tying interception against Wofford on Saturday afternoon.

On his Sunday night conference call, South Carolina coach Will Muschamp said he’s impressed with Moore’s ability to find the ball, saying that many interceptions is incredible for a linebacker:

Indeed, no defensive back in South Carolina history (or any other player for that matter) has had more interceptions than the senior linebacker. He now has three for the season.

He still needs one more to set the record by himself, but at least his name will go down in the Gamecocks’ record books when he leaves Columbia following the South Carolina bowl game this postseason.
