South Carolina is dealing with a plethora of injuries heading into Week 12 and could be without a couple offensive playmakers this Saturday against Texas A&M.

Gamecocks head coach Will Muschamp said Tuesday during his press conference that running backs Tavien Feaster and AJ Turner along with wide receiver OrTre Smith are all considered questionable to doubtful.

“They took part in practice,” Muschamp said. “But I don’t know how much more they’ll be able to go.”

The doubtful tag definitely implies they will be unlikely to go. On Monday, Muschamp considered them all “questionable” according to The News & Observer, so there’s chances of playing appear to have gone down in the last 24 hours.

Muschamp also said Tuesday that offensive tackle Jaylen Nichols will be out again this week.

Feaster is dealing with a groin injury. He leads South Carolina with 625 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns. The Clemson transfer is averaging 5.6 yards per carry. Turner started at running back in 2017, but he hasn’t accumulated any stats this season and currently has a hamstring injury.

Meanwhile, Smith is still recovering from knee surgery. He has eight catches for 64 yards and a touchdown this year.

The good news, though, is wide receiver Shi Smith and Bryan Edwards should be good to go. Furthermore, Muschamp said center Hank Manos has been cleared to return.

South Carolina will visit Texas A&M in a matchup between a pair of disappointing 2019 SEC teams on Saturday. Kickoff will be at 7:30 pm ET.
