The South Carolina Gamecocks got some bad news earlier this week when it was revealed that freshman DL Tyreek Johnson tore his ACL.
Now, the Gamecocks will be without another player for the entire 2018 season, as coach Will Muschamp said on Saturday that a redshirt senior running back suffered a season-ending injury.
As you can see in the tweet below, Muschamp said the Gamecocks will explore a sixth year of eligibility for the injured Caleb Kinlaw:
Muschamp: Caleb Kinlaw planted his foot and his knee gave out on him. He'll miss this year. They'll look at applying for a sixth year.

Kinlaw started his college career at Wisconsin before transferring to Pearl River Community College and eventually landing at South Carolina.
In limited action last season, Kinlaw had four carries for 47 yards. Whether or not he returns in 2019 is something that will be decided in the coming months.
Muschamp also confirmed that Johnson would miss the entire 2018 season:
Muschamp on injuries: Tyreek Johnson tore his ACL. He's out for the season after a solid spring. "Just a speedbump for him."
