Will Muschamp updates injuries, quarterback expectations ahead of Tennessee

As expected, South Carolina will have pass rusher D.J. Wonnum back this week against Tennessee, coach Will Muschamp announced on Sunday night on a media teleconference.
Wonnum has been out since the season opener against Coastal Carolina with a leg injury. He had one tackle for a loss in that game, but would presumably be a significant upgrade to the defensive front since he had six sacks a year ago.
Muschamp continued a message he began during the off week last week about stressing the turnover ratio as a deciding factor for the Gamecocks. The coach also suggested he would make a change at quarterback, just like he would at any other position, if Jake Bentley doesn’t play well, or they can improve with Michael Scarnecchia or Dakereon Joyner.
Muschamp also said DBs JT Ibe (knee) and Nick Harvey (concussion) remain sidelined with injuries, and RB AJ Turner is questionable in concussion protocol.
The Gamecocks and Vols are set to play at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday on the SEC Network.
Muschamp: Can't win when you're -6 in the turnover margin. It comes down to 4-5 plays in the game, those are details in the game we haven't done well enough in.

Muschamp: Two biggest areas to improve on are turnover margin and details.

Muschamp says Bentley will start; "No different than when we've talked to Jake before, Bentley will start, but he has to play well, if we feel like we can make a change and make a positive contribution we'll do so."

Muschamp on QBs: No different than any other position. Got to produce and take care of the ball, or the next guy goes in.

Muschamp: DB Nick Harvey is still in concussion protocol. He's still not cleared for competition.
