ACC action for Week 7 is in the books.

Here are game balls for every ACC team who played this weekend:

Cal: Teddye Buchanan, LB

It was a good day overall for Cal’s defense despite the loss. Buchanan was tied for the team-high in tackles with 8 and also contributed 1 sack and 2 pass breakups.

Clemson: Jake Briningstool, TE

Jake Briningstool is one of the very best tight ends in the country, and he played like it on Saturday vs. Wake. He caught 7 passes for 104 yards and a touchdown. He’s Clemson’s second-leading pass-catcher overall after 7 weeks.

Georgia Tech: Jamal Haynes, RB

Georgia Tech appeared to be headed to overtime with North Carolina until Jamal Haynes won the game with a 68-yard rushing touchdown in the final minute. Easy choice for this week.

Louisville: Isaac Brown, RB

Where would Louisville be without Isaac Brown this season? He put up another 146 yards and 2 touchdowns on Saturday. He’s averaging 8.6 yards per attempt — he deserves more usage in this offense.

NC State: CJ Bailey was very efficient in a loss to Syracuse. He threw for 329 yards and 2 touchdowns on just 24 pass attempts. Unfortunately for the Wolfpack, he also had an interception. They also went just 1-for-6 on third down, or they would’ve had a great chance to pull off the upset.

North Carolina: Omarion Hampton, RB

Omarion Hampton carried the ball 18 times for 137 yards in UNC’s hard-fought loss. He’s one of the best running backs in the country.

Pitt: Jimmy Scott, DL

For much of this season, it’s been Pitt’s offense who saved the day. Not so on Saturday against Cal. Credit to Jimmy Scott who recorded 3 sacks in the win. He was 1 of 3 Panthers on the day who collected multiple tackles for loss.

Stanford: Jshawn Frausto-Ramos, DB

Slim pickens this week for Stanford, who lost 49-7 to Notre Dame. Jshawn Frausto-Ramos gets the game ball because he forced and recovered a fumble.

Syracuse: Kyle McCord, QB

Kyle McCord threw for 346 yards and and 2 touchdowns in a close win over NC State. He’s second only to Miami’s Cam Ward (amongst ACC quarterbacks) with 19 passing touchdowns on the season.

Virginia: Anthony Colandrea, QB

Anthony Colandrea continues to give Virginia great opportunities to win. He threw for 279 yards and rushed for another 84 on Saturday in the loss to Louisville.

Wake Forest: Davaughn Patterson, DB

It was a tough day overall for the Wake Forest defense, but I’ll give the nod to Davaughn Patterson. He recorded a team-high 12 tackles. He was also credited with a tackle for loss and a forced fumble.
