Army-Navy game: Black Knights release inspiring hype video narrated by former team captain
The annual Army-Navy game will take place on Saturday afternoon from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. In advance of the rivalry contest, Army showcased an inspiring hype video narrated by 2016 team captain Andrew King.
“The rivalry is ingrained in you from the moment you arrive at West Point…It means bragging rights for the next 365,” King said.
The former linebacker collected 255 total tackles, 2 forced fumbles, and 4 fumble recoveries during his career at Army.

Army enters with a 5-6 overall record while Navy has a 4-7 mark. Navy won last season’s meeting 17-13 and holds the edge in the all-time series 62-53-7.
This is the 3rd consecutive losing season for a Navy program that previously had a solid stretch of success.
“We’ve got a ways to go. We’ve missed our goals,” Navy athletics director Chet Gladchuk said to the AP. “We’re not where we want to be. The Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy is always a focal point. A bowl game is a focal point for the team. We’re not quite where we want to be.”
Army’s last victory in the series was a 15-0 shutout win on Dec. 12, 2020.
