College Football Playoff top 10 undefeated team goes down in upset
Wake Forest and North Carolina met up in a nonconference game on Saturday afternoon in Chapel Hill.
Yes, that’s right — the Demon Deacons and Tar Heels, both of whom are ACC members — met on the field Saturday in a non-ACC game.
That weirdness aside, it actually turned into a pretty great game between the 4-4 Tar Heels and the 8-0 Demon Deacons.
But, when all was said and done, Wake Forest — the current No. 9 team in the College Football Playoff rankings — fell to North Carolina 58-55. Then, fans stormed the field:

Tennessee transfer RB Ty Chandler had a huge day for the Heels running for 213 yards and 4 touchdowns, including this game-clinching 50-yard scamper:

So, the College Football Playoff rankings will have at least one top-10 team drop out this week. Will we see any additional upsets in Week 10?
