Tough news to share from Miami as Manny Diaz has announced he has tested positive for COVID.
This news comes after Miami’s game this weekend against Georgia Tech had already been postponed due to COVID issues within Diaz’s Hurricane program.
“I have tested positive for COVID-19. I am currently in isolation and feeling good overall. I will continue to work with our team virtually as we prepare for our next game at Wake Forest,” Diaz shared on Friday morning.
The next Miami game is set for Saturday, Dec. 5, meaning Miami will have gone nearly a month between games as they last suited up on Nov. 14.
Miami is currently 7-1 on the season and ranked No. 12 nationally.
