After having to wait so long for the Pac-12 to finally return to action, Nick Ford just wants to play some football.

The 2019 Pac-12 All-Conference honorable mention selection is coming off a season in which he started all 14 games for Utah’s offensive line and after the team’s opening season game against Arizona was lost due to the team not having enough scholarship players to compete, Ford has just issued some frustration with the possibility of not being able to play this weekend against UCLA.

Here is the statement issued by Ford on Friday:

“Exposed to COVID19. 8 days of testing. 20 plus negative tests later. LA county still doesn’t want me playing. Disappointment and frustration are both understatements for the way I feel. When it’s finally my time to step back on the field… feel bad for whoever I’m going against.”

While all safety precautions have to be taken to ensure the safety of everyone involved in the game, you would think testing negative 20+ times would be sufficient to see the field.

Apparently, that’s not the case though for Ford, which is absolutely disappointing.
