Eddie Lampkin alleges abuse by TCU HC Jamie Dixon after stepping away
Former TCU basketball player Eddie Lampkin recently left the Horned Frogs for “personal reasons” and much more regarding those has come to light since his departure.
Lampkin has alleged abuse from head coach Jamie Dixon, alleging mistreatment and “racial” remarks. TCU beat writer Steven M. Johnson took to Twitter with screenshots from Lampkin’s Instagram account that involve his strong remarks on Dixon’s alleged treatment of players.
The first screenshot appears to be a text message from Dixon to Lampkin’s mother that reads: “Vanessa thank you (for) taking the time to speak with us yesterday. I am sorry that I was not able to get Eddie to reach the levels we had both hoped for. I understand that Eddie is entering the transfer portal … Wish him all the success. The first day for NCAA transfer portal is Monday March 13.” “We will expedite immediately. If there is anything we can do please let me know. Coach Dixon.”
The next reads as follows from Lampkin’s mother: “Coach Dixon we did not talk yesterday and no one has told you from our end that Eddie is entering the transfer portal. We discussing your behavior towards him. I do not appreciate the way you and everyone at TCU is making it about the transfer portal and not about the real reason he is not there with the team he loves.”
“If you all don’t tell the truth of how you have mistreated, disrespected and said racial remarks towards him. We will. Please do not disrespect my son’s name because all we have been is patient with YOU. Handle us with Christian values for once.”

This is a notable loss for the Horned Frogs as TCU was 2-4 in Big 12 play without Lampkin in action. TCU is set to tip off against Kansas State Thursday at 9:30 p.m. EST on ESPN.

He just must not have been committed to winning…
Did this kid attend a single English class at TCU? Good Lord!
He likely did, that’s the scary part.
It sure is. Is this really what higher education produces today? How sad.
Hope he never has to write a resume
