ESPN’s College GameDay is broadcasting from State College ahead of Saturday’s Penn State-Ohio State game. Fittingly, a former Nittany Lion will join the show as the celebrity guest picker.

GameDay announced former Penn State quarterback Trace McSorley as Saturday’s celebrity guest picker. McSorley played for PSU from 2014-18. His career highlights include being named second-team All-Big Ten in 2016, ’17 and ’18. He came up big for the Nittany Lions in two postseason games, earning MVP honors for the Big Ten Championship Game in 2016 and Fiesta Bowl in 2017. McSorley was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

This year, guest pickers have been contributing remotely. Saturday’s show has analysts Lee Corso and Desmond Howard contributing remotely. Corso has been avoiding travel all season while Howard is staying home after testing positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday.

McSorley and the GameDay analysts have up to six SEC games to pick this week.
