Florida State has made another change at quarterback.

Mike Norvell put true freshman Luke Kromenhoek into the game midway through the second quarter of Florida State’s Friday night contest against Duke. The change came after Glenn turned the ball over on 3 consecutive plays.

Florida State became the first team in FBS this season to turn the ball over on 3 straight offensive plays, per ESPN.

Kromenhoek entered the game with Florida State trailing 17-3. The Noles picked up one first down on his series before having to punt the ball away. Kromenhoek did not attempt a pass on the drive and carried the ball twice for 4 yards.

Kromenhoek was a very-highly rated recruit in the class of 2024. He finished the cycle as the nation’s No. 59 overall prospect and the No. 5 quarterback, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He chose FSU over offers from programs such as Penn State, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Florida and others.

Florida State is 20-0 all-time against the Blue Devils. However, FSU was a 3-point underdog coming into this game in Durham. The Noles have just 1 win so far in 2024.
