Florida State 'Book Guy' makes triumphant return in FSU's loss to Clemson
Florida State’s struggles in 2024 have brought upon the return of an infamous Noles fan: book guy.
The fan, who first came to fame back in 2018 during a particularly-brutal FSU loss to Clemson, reappeared in the 4th quarter of the Noles’ loss to the Tigers on Saturday. He was once again reading a book during the game by himself.
ESPN’s Mark Jones said on the air that he met this fan earlier in the day while in Tallahassee.
“I’m gonna say this, I met him today, when I was on my run on the [Apalachee] Parkway,” Jones said. “He said he’d be at the game tonight. He promised. He might not like this score board right now … I met him, he was walking, I think it was a labradoodle he had … I miss my dog, so I was petting his dog and he said, ‘Have you ever Googled ‘Florida State book guy.’ I said no. He said, ‘well it went viral years ago and I was reading a book at the game.’ He said, ‘I think I’m going to try to get a ticket tonight for the Clemson game.'”

If you need a refresher, here’s what Florida State Book Guy originally looked like back in 2018:
