Mike Norvell’s tenure at Florida State has not gone as planned. In 2020, Norvell’s first season at FSU, the Seminoles went 3-6. Despite Florida State’s struggles on the field, however, Norvell’s staff has impressed on the recruiting trail. FSU’s 2022 recruiting class is currently ranked No. 10 nationally on the 247Sports Composite. A former FSU standout, however, appears to be cautioning the Noles’ top pledge in that 2022 class about the program’s fans.

Former Florida State wide receiver PK Sam II turned heads with his Tuesday tweet saying the Seminoles’ locker room is “in shambles” after Saturday’s loss to FCS Jacksonville State. The Tuesday tweet has since been deleted, but Sam isn’t done calling out his alma mater. On Wednesday, Sam shared a message he received and tagged 5-star FSU pledge Travis Hunter telling him, “make sure you choose wisely.”

Warning: Language

Hunter is a phenomenal talent and would be a huge get for any program if he were to flip his commitment. The 5-star Collins Hill product is graded as a cornerback on 247Sports, though he recently displayed his elite pass-catching skills as Mizzou pledge Sam Horn’s top wide receiver. Hunter has scholarship offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Tennessee.
