Gus Malzahn on crutches due to injury suffered during Tulane game
Gus Malzahn will be on crutches for 6 weeks following a leg injury suffered during UCF’s game against Tulane on Saturday.
The Knights won the game 14-10, but the former Auburn coach told reporters on Monday that he suffered a fractured tibia and he’ll be using crutches for about 6 weeks due to a knee injury suffered during the game. The Knights are 6-3 on the season, and have won 3 games in a row. Malzahn on Saturday called it “embarrassing” and said he would be ready “tomorrow.”
The Knights play SMU this week, and close the season against UConn and South Florida, 2 teams with losing records.
