Hubert Davis and the North Carolina Tar Heels just ended the career of rival Mike Krzyzewski of Duke, sending him home with a loss on Saturday night in New Orleans.

Now, though, the Tar Heels have to regroup, as there is still one game left, and it’s the biggest game of all. UNC will face Kansas in the national championship game on Monday night.

Speaking on Sunday, Davis was asked about UNC legend Michael Jordan potentially being in attendance for the game. Davis quipped that if Jordan shows up in New Orleans, he’d like MJ to play, not just watch:

Of course, Michael Jordan isn’t going to walk into that UNC locker room in uniform on Monday night. Fortunately for Davis, the guys he does have in the locker room have already taken down teams like Baylor, UCLA and Duke en route to this year’s national championship game.

Do the Tar Heels have one more piece of magic left in them against the Jayhawks? We’ll find out on Monday night!
