LOOK: Fans upset with Kevin Sumlin on Twitter following wild loss to Hawaii
Following the ugly Week 0 opener between Florida and Miami in Orlando, Arizona traveled to Hawaii to take on the Rainbow Warriors.
That game was an offensive shootout, but when all was said and done, Kevin Sumlin’s Wildcats ended up on the losing side of a 45-38 scoreline.
Here’s the last play of regulation, when Arizona QB Khalil Tate ended up one yard short of potentially forcing overtime:

Needless to say, Arizona fans weren’t too happy about losing to a Mountain West squad in Week 1, and took to Twitter to vent their frustration.
Sumlin’s seat is already heating up, as evidenced by the tweets below:
Imagine being a Pac-12 team playing a MWC team…
You have a QB and RB that have run for 1400 yards in A SEASON.
MWC team turns it over 6 times and benches their QB.
You go ahead and lose. Only Kevin Sumlin can pull a trick like that.@HaydenWinks @FranchiseKF @CFFNate

Congrats to Kevin Sumlin for being on the wrong end of TWO of the most ridiculous season-opening losses of all time.

A Kevin Sumlin coached team with superior talent finding a way to lose to an inferior team even with multiple in-game advantages? That’s never happened before!

Kevin Sumlin should just hit the beach after this game and never fly home. This series is beyond a dumpster fire. Three penalties and THEN a time out? WTF? #UAvsUH

Sumlin needs to turn things around quickly if he wants to keep his job, it seems.
