Michigan State released a new statement on Tuesday evening and announced that 4 more players have been suspended, which brings the total number to 8 players disciplined from the post-game melee after the Michigan loss last week.

Jacoby Windmon, Brandon Wright, Justin White and Malcolm Jones were announced as suspended in a new joint statement from Michigan State AD Alan Haller and Spartans head coach Mel Tucker. They said they will continue to take appropriate action.

Similar to the previous suspensions, these are effective immediately and will remain in place until the investigations are completed. On Sunday evening, MSU announced suspensions for Tank Brown, Khary Crump, Angelo Grose and Zion Young.

Michigan, meanwhile, is working with the Big Ten and local law enforcement in the ongoing investigation.

At least one Michigan player is planning to press charges, his father said, according to ESPN’s Tom VanHaaren.
