NC State will be without a key defender for the rest of the 2024 season.

The 2025 season will be Hibbler’s sixth and final year of college football. He spent his first 3 seasons in the JUCO ranks at Northwest Mississippi Community College, receiving an extra year due to COVID-19.

Ahead of the 2023 season, Hibbler transferred to NC State. A pass-rushing specialist, Nibbler logged 6.5 sacks to lead the team. The sacks, good for ninth in the ACC, made up half of Nibbler’s total tackles on the season.
This season, Nibbler is off to a slower start. Playing in 4 games, the regular-season maximum to redshirt, Nibbler has 6 total tackles, but no sacks or TFLs.
NC State was ranked early in the season, but has suffered blowout losses to Tennessee (51-10) and Clemson (59-35). Dave Doeren’s team go back over .500 with a 24-17 win over Northern Illinois in Week 5. The Wolfpack host Wake Forest in Week 6, a game set for noon ET on The CW.
