Shedeur Sanders was involved in more than a few extracurriculars Saturday night against Colorado State.

He got involved in a pregame midfield scuffle between the Colorado Buffaloes and rival Rams, flashing his watch to a camera shortly after. After wideout Travis Hunter was on the receiving end of a highly questionable shot from CSU, Sanders jumped into the face of the defender who delivered the blow.

Late in the first half, Sanders was also spotted on the broadcast seemingly trying to poke a Colorado State defender in the eyes.

The Buffs have been playing with emotion all season. They’ve used slights — real and perceived — as fuel to the fire to jump out to a 2-0 record and a No. 18 ranking in the AP Top 25.

Sanders had been spectacular coming into the Week 3 contest. He had six touchdowns and no interceptions, quickly forcing his way into the early Heisman conversation with highlight reel throw after highlight real throw.

But he threw his first interception of the season against the Rams and his Buffs went into the halftime break trailing 21-14.
