Travis Hunter has made history in multiple ways this season, namely with the way he functions as a two-way player in a manner practically no other player is able to replicate.

But he only continued to add to that on Friday in Colorado’s 52-0 shutout victory over the Oklahoma State Cowboys. According to ESPN’s Stats and Info, Hunter is the first FBS player with 3 touchdowns from scrimmage and an interception in the same game in at least the last 20 seasons.

Hunter was an ace in the victory, accounting for 10 receptions for 116 yards with 3 touchdowns as the second-leading receiver for the Buffs. His 3 receiving touchdowns led Colorado in the blowout. And he did it all before exiting the game early in the fourth quarter as Colorado allowed some of its backups to get experience — and rightfully so given the dominance of this victory.

That performance only further extends Hunter’s case for the Heisman Trophy, and massively so. He now totals 92 receptions for 1,152 yards and 14 receiving touchdowns for the season. On the defensive side of the ball, he now has 4 interceptions to his name.

With the regular season now in the books, the Buffaloes will now turn their attention to what awaits them in the postseason.
