Four-star recruit Devodrick Johnson is a Texas A&M pledge, again.

The dual-threat quarterback and linebacker announced Sunday that he is re-committing to the Aggies after decommiting on Aug. 6:

Johnson originally committed to the Aggies on July 14, but backed off his pledge less than a month later saying he wanted to make sure he made the right choice.

The Kimball product said the way Texas A&M handled his original change of heart impressed him.

“The family atmosphere. There’s nothing like Texas A&M University,” Johnson told TexAgs.com. “You would think when I de-committed from Texas A&M they would have held a grudge or been a little mad, but they never lost faith and knew I would be back and never gave up on me. Got to love it.”

The Aggies now have 23 pledges in a 2017 class ranked No. 11 nationally and No. 5 in the SEC according to 247Sports Composite.
