An already big recruiting day got even better for the Aggies.

Not long after the commitment of Houston-area WR Caleb Chapman, Texas A&M picked up its highest-rated commitment from Manvel WR Jalen Preston, who has a 247Sports Composite score of 0.9670. The service ranks Preston the No. 6 Texas recruit, No. 11 wide receiver and No. 65 overall prospect.

An Under Armour All-American, Preston had an impressive offer list of 22 including LSU, Georgia, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and in-state rival Texas. Preston is commitment No. 14 in an Aggies class which ranks No. 14 nationally and No. 4 in the SEC.

After announcing his decision in his home, Preston shared the big news on Twitter.
