Antonio Cromartie is currently an assistant on Jimbo Fisher’s staff, serving as the cornerbacks coach at Texas A&M.
He also had a lengthy NFL career, making it to 4 Pro Bowls and leading the league in interceptions in 2007 after being a first-round draft pick in 2006.
On Tuesday night, he took to Twitter to give some advice to players in today’s era of Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) money:
Man this NIL deal ish crazy. Now kids are worried abt everyone else’s pockets. How about this worry about taking care of things on the field 1st. And everything else will follow. B/C if you not productive on the field or in the class you won’t see the ???. Worry about you Jit.

And just know those marketing agents want they money before taxes. Just like the government

The NIL era is still new in the college football world. Players are still figuring things out, as are coaches, schools, agents, businesses, etc.
But, Cromartie’s advice rings true — work to be the best player you can be and the money should follow.
