Appalachian State defeating No. 6-ranked Texas A&M, 17-14 was just one of many upsets on another interesting Saturday in college football.

Head coach Shawn Clark got emotional after what was a statement victory for a Mountaineers team that doesn’t receive a ton of national attention.

“It’s unbelievable,” Clark said. “I love this program. It means everything to me… We’ll have one hell of a time on that plane ride back to Boone (North Carolina) tonight.”

App State will look to keep the good times rolling as it faces the Troy Trojans on Saturday, Sept. 17 at 2:30 p.m. CT in Boone, North Carolina.
