Brett Minnich has come back from injury with a vengeance for Texas A&M baseball, and he delivered another impressive blast early in Friday’s game.

Facing Auburn on the road, Minnich crushed a full-count offering deep for a 3-run home run. The tale of the tape for that blast went as a 431-foot shot that left the bat with an exit velocity of 106 MPH.

Unfortunately, that hot start from Minnich did not do much for the Aggies in the bottom of the frame. Auburn answered right back with a 5-run frame heading into the 2nd inning.

As for Minnich, he’s been on a tear since returning to the field late in March. Friday is Minnich’s 7th game back and his latest blast is his 4th home run in that span.

Minnich also went 2-for-4 with a double, RBI and a run scored in Thursday’s 9-5 win over Auburn. Overall, Texas A&M has gone 4-2 in the past 6 games with Minnich in the lineup.
