Colin Cowherd explains why ex-Texas A&M star Robert Williams III is 'most valuable player on either team' in NBA Finals
Colin Cowherd has had plenty to say about the NBA Finals between the Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors.
The Celtics took a 2-1 series lead with a win in Game 3 in Boston on Wednesday night. Former Texas A&M big man Robert Williams III was a big part of the Celtics’ victory, scoring 8 points, to go with 10 rebounds, 4 blocks and 3 steals.
He’s been an elite rim protector and shot blocker this series, and FOX Sports host Colin Cowherd said on Thursday that Williams has been the most valuable player on either team so far this series:
"Robert Williams is not going to win MVP, but he's the most valuable player on either team right now."

Williams has battled injuries throughout this postseason. But, if he’s healthy, he’ll continue to make an impact on both ends of the floor for the Celtics.
Game 4 is scheduled to tip off at 9 p.m. Eastern time on Friday night.
