Conner Weigman reportedly dealing with injury to throwing shoulder
Conner Weigman will not play on Saturday vs. Florida as he deals with shoulder injury, according to a report.
Shortly before kickoff on Saturday, ABC’s broadcast reported that Weigman has an injured AC joint in his throwing shoulder. ABC also reports that Weigman initially suffered the injury during A&M’s loss to Notre Dame back in Week 1.
The ABC broadcast just confirmed Texas A&M QB Conner Weigman suffered an AC joint injury in his throwing shoulder vs. Notre Dame. Said they tried an injection during pregame today but wanted to sit him out of precaution.

It’s currently unclear when Weigman initially hurt his shoulder against Notre Dame. Weigman struggled mightily against the Fighting Irish, completing just 12-of-30 passes in the Aggies’ Week 1 loss.
Weigman played through the injury last week against McNeese State, but was removed late in the first half. At the time, coach Mike Elko said the decision to pull Weigman had more to do with getting first-team reps for backup quarterback Marcel Reed.
Weigman didn’t show up on Texas A&M’s conference-mandated availability report until Thursday. Weigman was listed as questionable for the rest of the week and then was deemed a game-time decision on Saturday morning.
After struggling through pregame warmups, Texas A&M ultimately decided to go with Marcel Reed under center.
Texas A&M is looking for its first FBS win of the season and its first road victory since 2021.
