Conner Weigman feels 'privileged' to play at Texas A&M
Conner Weigman will be starting at quarterback for Texas A&M this season. He sat down with TexAgs’ Billy Liucci to talk about how great it is to play college football at the highest level.
Weigman was a former 5-star QB out of Cypress (Tex.) Bridgeland in the 2022 class. The 247Sports Composite ranked him as the No. 2 QB and No. 5 Texas prospect.
Weigman talked about how privileged he is to play college football.
“I’m ecstatic, that’s what I try to preach and get that point across to everyone else, is that football’s fun. It’s a privilege to get to play this game. It’s a kid’s sport and we get to do it at the highest level in college. I mean, that’s a dream come true. Just go out there and have fun, that’s all you can ask for.”

Fans will be looking to Weigman to revitalize an offense that finished 12th in the SEC in terms of total offensive yards (360.9) per game last season.
Weigman appeared in five games last year. He accounted for 896 yards passing with 8 touchdowns in those performances.
A 5-7 record won’t cut it this time around for the Aggies. The Aggies face New Mexico to open the year on Saturday.
