When Dallas Cowboys K Dan Bailey injured himself in Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers, it had wide-ranging effects on the roster.
Now, the Cowboys have cut former Texas A&M DE Damontre Moore to make room for K Mike Nugent, according to a 247Sports report.
Moore only signed with the Cowboys this offseason after spending time with the New York Giants, Seattle Seahawks and Miami Dolphins since 2013.
In his career, Moore has recorded 55 tackles and 10 sacks. He had three tackles in three games with the Cowboys in 2017.
Now, though, he’ll be looking for a fifth team, as the Cowboys had to make room for another kicker on the roster.
Where he ends up next remains to be seen, but he will likely end up with another squad before the season is over.
