The Texas A&M Aggies haven’t exactly had the season many drew up even with how the team had been recruiting and head coach Jimbo Fisher is catching the majority of the heat for the team’s woes because of offensive sputtering.

One of the team’s most shocking losses came in the 17-14 loss to Appalachian State on Sept. 10, and the rest of the Aggies’ play outside of that hasn’t exactly been anything write home about nor has it met the preseason expectations.

One ESPN analyst had some thoughts on that.

“Something is missing in College Station,” he wrote. “Even the most loyal Aggie fan has to wonder how they have one of the most talented teams in America with an offensive minded coach that can’t score more consistently.”

It will be interesting to see what the future looks like for Fisher and the program moving forward if things continue the way they have been. And it’s not exactly looking up as the Aggies trail the Bulldogs, 35-17 at the bottom of the fourth quarter in Starkville, Mississippi.
