After finding out how much revenue the NCAA reported in 2017, Johnny Manziel freaks out
It would be hard to name a college football player that the NCAA or his school profited off more than Johnny Manziel. While he only competed on the field for two seasons, Manziel’s presence is still being felt in College Station to this day thanks to his amazing exploits on the field for the Aggies.
In fact, Texas A&M made so much money off selling No. 2 Aggie jerseys that schools are no longer allowed to sell jerseys representing active players.
The former Texas A&M quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner went on a bit of a Twitter tirade Wednesday after seeing how much the NCAA made for the 2017 fiscal year. This isn’t the first time Manziel has spoken out about the NCAA, he’s publicly commented on his hate for the organization and its practices in recent weeks.
According to reports, the NCAA reported a revenue of $1.1 billion. Needless to say, Manziel isn’t happy.
