After signing Josh Reynolds in the offseason, the Tennessee Titans released him on Tuesday.

Reynolds was signed by the Titans from the Los Angeles Rams after spending 2017 to 2020 with them. Reynolds was taken in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft from Texas A&M with the 117th overall pick.

Now it looks Reynolds will be heading up north, as he has been claimed off the waiver wire by the Detroit Lions. ESPN’s Field Yates announced the news via Twitter on Wednesday.

Reynolds appeared in 5 games for the Titans, compiling 90 yards receiving on 10 receptions. In his four years with the Rams, Reynolds tallied up 1,450 yards receiving with 9 touchdowns.

Reynolds dealt with an Achilles injury for the majority of August and September after getting acquired by the Titans, and wasn’t able to suit up for their game against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1.

Maybe a change of scenery is all he needs to back to the form he had in the 2020 season.
