Former Texas A&M star Martellus Bennett is on his way back to New England after the tight end won a Super Bowl with the Patriots last season.

Bennett, who was recently cut by the Green Bay Packers because he didn’t disclose a medical condition, was claimed by New England, according to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport.

Bennett has recently dealt with a shoulder injury that has kept him out of games.

In seven games this season, Bennett has 24 catches for 233 yards and no touchdowns. Bennett had 701 receiving yards and seven touchdowns with the Patriots in 2016.

NFL.com also reported that Bennett openly hinted on Instagram last month that he was seriously considering retirement at the end of the season.
