Jalen Wydermyer was getting some Round 1 NFL Draft buzz heading into the 2021 college football season.

Instead, when the 2022 NFL Draft came and went this week in Las Vegas, Wydermyer didn’t hear his name called at all during the 7-round event.

After the draft concluded, though, Wydermyer was quickly signed to an undrafted free agent deal by the Buffalo Bills, something he confirmed on Twitter on Saturday night:

In the past 3 years with the Aggies, Wydermyer has caught 118 passes for 1,468 yards and 16 touchdowns.

Can he land a spot with the Buffalo Bills for the 2022 season? We’ll see if he can put his draft disappointment behind him and have a big preseason in Buffalo.
