Texas A&M was without one of its top wideouts, Moose Muhammad, at Auburn.

After it was reported that Muhammad was not injured, the standout wide receiver took to social media to clear the air. Muhammad said he was “benched” for an attire decision:

“I want to clear the air. I was benched for wearing arm sleeves—something that my teammates and opponents wear frequently for protection. I apologize to my teammates and fans and looking forward to getting back on the field. Much Love!

In his Monday press conference, Jimbo Fisher was asked about Muhammad’s status after the Auburn absence. Fisher said the issue has been resolved.

“That was an internal issue in which we handled. We addressed it, we all talked. Moving on.”

Muhammad has recorded 30 catches for 441 yards and 3 touchdowns in 2022.

When asked if Muhammad would be available against UMass, Fisher answered, “Yes.”

The Texas A&M-UMass is set for 11 a.m. CT/noon ET on ESPN+/SEC Network+.
