The Texas A&M Aggies gave No. 10 Ole Miss all it wanted on Saturday, as the Aggies led 35-31 late in the game before losing, 38-35. Things started out bad for the Aggies, as they were down 14-0 early. However, a blocked field goal was returned for a touchdown by Jacoby Matthews to get the Aggies on the board.

It was a valiant effort, but in the end, the Aggies couldn’t get the win, as they fell to 5-4 on the season. During the game, Shemar Turner was ejected from the game after he threw a punch at an Ole Miss offensive lineman. Coach Jimbo Fisher commented on the ejection after the game.

“We can’t lose our cool,” Fisher said. “He is a great young player and a great young man and he will learn from that. We’ll make sure we get him right because he has a great future in the game, but it’s a shame.”

Another topic of discussion after the game was the issues between Fisher and Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin, but Fisher said there is no problem at all.

“I have no problem with Lane,” Fisher said. “I am coaching our guys. The streak I want to get off is winning on the road. We want to win for our football team and our kids who are heartbroken in the locker room.”
