Shemar Turner made a game-changing play for Texas A&M on Saturday against Ole Miss. But he also made a serious mental mistake.

Turner, the defensive end who blocked a field goal attempt in the 1st half, which led to a touchdown, swung at Ole Miss OL Micah Pettus after a play in the 3rd quarter. Turner was ejected, and as the penalty was announced, Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin gave the ejection sign while the penalty was called.

Turner had two tackle and the blocked field goal in the game.

It’s become an increasingly frustrating game for the Aggies as Turner’s blocked field goal in the 1st half appeared to regain momentum, but Ole Miss scored again after Turner’s ejection to build a 28-14 lead.

Max Johnson and Jimbo Fisher were caught on the sideline by ESPN cameras in a spirited conversation after an interception in the end zone, as the Aggies continue to struggle in the 2nd half. The Aggies have gone 4 straight games without scoring an offensive TD in the 2nd half, and coming into this game were outscored 55-32.
