Pretty much every single day, a coach across college football comments on expansion. While many of the coaches are excited and looking forward to the future, there are still a lot of concerns about it.

One of the biggest complaints of all the expansion is the travel, and how some of these new conferences are going to be all across the country.

On Wednesday, it was Texas A&M coach Jimbo Fisher who talked about what he thought about expansion.

A big issue that Fisher has is the travel that some of these other conferences have to do.

“I am just glad we are only in two time zones,” Fisher said. “Every other league has three or four. I do not know how they are going to do it. I’m glad I’m not a part of it. I feel sorry for the kids.”

While his team doesn’t have to travel extremely far for conference games, the Aggies will be leaving the Central Time Zone this week. Texas A&M travels to Florida to face the Miami Hurricanes on Saturday.

This is a rematch from last year, as the Aggies were able to defeat the Hurricanes, 17-9. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET and the game will air on ABC.
