Jimbo Fisher has hilarious response when asked why he talks so fast

Jimbo Fisher is one of the fastest talkers in the country. That’s among all people, not just in the ranks of college football coaches.
His press conferences are notoriously hard on transcribers, who have to parse out his rapid-fire sentences.
On Thursday at SEC Media Days, Fisher was asked why he talks so fast. His response was absolutely perfect:
“You gotta get your thoughts out,” he laughed. “How long do you want to be here? I give you lots of information in a short amount of time. I’m a reporter’s dream! Dadgum. How could y’all complain about that? … Heck, I get you in and get you out.”
Fisher certainly does give reporters a ton of information in not very much time. At least he can poke fun at himself over it.
That exchange between Fisher and the reporter is definitely up there for top moments from SEC Media Days in Atlanta.
Now that Fisher’s press conference is done, Media Days are wrapping up. Next year, the event will be held in Nashville.
