Jimbo Fisher praises Shemar Turner ahead of Week 4: 'He loves everything associated with football'
Jimbo Fisher mentioned Shermar Turner at Monday’s presser. Turner was arrested before Week 3’s matchup with UL Monroe for reckless driving.
Turner was still able to play in the game despite being arrested. He had 2 total tackles and 1 sack in the 47-3 win over the Warhawks.
Fisher praised Turner and stated that no one loves football more.
“There’s nobody on our football team that loves football more than Shemar Turner. He loves to play,” said Fisher. “He loves to practice. He loves to work out. He loves to run. He loves everything associated with football, and that doesn’t always happen.”
Football is a full-time job for some people, and it looks like Turner is one of them. Going to work isn’t too bad if you actually love what you do like Turner.
Turner and the Aggies open SEC play with Auburn in Week 4. Kickoff from College Station will be at Noon ET on ESPN Saturday.
